KRIEG Announces Re-Release Of Classic 'Patrick Bateman' Recording
November 30, 2010KRIEG has partnered with Inferna Profundus Records to reissue "Patrick Bateman", the band's definitive black/noise statement from 2003. Based on Bret Easton Ellis' nihilistic novel "American Psycho", "Patrick Bateman" is close to fifteen minutes of the harshest and most feral material KRIEG ever set to tape. This reissue will feature a newly recorded bonus track in a (de)evolution of the spirit of the original recording as well as new packaging and linear notes from main member Imperial.
"Patrick Bateman" reissue track listing:
01. I
02. II
03. III
04. IV
05. V
06. VI (bonus track)
This recording is considered one of KRIEG's finest displays of raw and savage intensity and will appeal to those not just interested in black metal's extremes but also those into noise and power electronics. A December 2010 release is expected, limited to 500 copies, with the first 100 copies in exclusive digipack with different artwork.
